Third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders from Folger McKinsey Elementary School sang the national anthem at Thursday night’s Bowie Baysox game at Prince George's Stadium.
Led by Choral Director Melbe Sunday, the students sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" in front of the ball game crowd. Sunday said this is the eighth or ninth year the school has performed at a Baysox game.
“It is such a family-friendly park, and the prices are great we always have a good time," Sunday said. "It is also a very nice end to the year. We always have teachers, faculty, parents and even grandparents come out."
About 60 students from the school participated in the performance.
