Victoria's Fancy Foods Hosts Chocolate Olympics Saturday

The annual event will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday.

Chocolate lovers get ready—Victoria's Fancy Foods will host its annual Chocolate Olympics on Saturday.

The event features nine different contestants who will each make a chocolate treat. Those who attend the event are given the opportunity to try the desserts and then vote for their favorite. The contestant with the most votes will be crowned the winner.

This is the fourth annual Chocolate Olympics, and Victoria's Fancy Foods owner Victoria Stagmer told Patch the event is always popular.

“It’s fun just because of the uniqueness of it,” Stagmer told Patch in January. “In the middle of the winter there is nothing to do and everybody has cabin fever. It snowed six inches the first year I did it and people still came. Give people free chocolate and they will come.”

The Chocolate Olympics is free and open to the public. The event will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Victoria's Fancy Food and should end around 3 p.m.

I can't wait to try some of the entries. This will be my first year not competing.
