PHOTOS: Annual Raising of Diehl's Produce Tents
A sure sign that spring is here in Severna Park and summer fruits and vegetables are not far behind is when the Diehl's Produce tents are back in the Dawson's parking lot.

Passersby did double takes, many honked their horns while others stopped to say hello as the staff and a few friends came to help set up the signature red and white striped tents of Diehl's Produce on Sunday.
Doug Diehl started the business 41 years in Severna Park where he sold produce from a table under an oak tree decades ago in the same parking lot (located across from Adam's Ribs and Dawson's Liquors) that now is home to four Diehl's tents that protect seasonal items. Known to locals as "the stand," Diehl's will be open for the new 2012 season at 9 a.m. on March 30 with a variety of flowers.
