Bring Cynthia'a back!!!!!!!!!!! That place was awesome. I think they had a poor location for a high end restaurant (where the Breakfast Shoppe is now), but it was one of the top 3 meals I've ever had.

What we have been missing is Popeyes, a family restraunt like Friendly's, IHop, Long John Silvers, etc. The nearest one is Glen Burnie and not a gas saver.
Me? I'm very, very, very happy A.C. Moore is moving closer. Thank You

I agree with Martha, a Trader Joe's would be wonderful. A nice gift shop would be good, too.

I think i visited a Trader Joe's in Annapolis, I agree. It would be nice to have one here in S.P. We had a gift shop in the Village and it soon went out of business. I quess giving another a try couldn't hurt.

I would love to see a Wine Bar Restaurant like Red, Red, Wine or CRUSH in Annapolis. A Trader Joe's would be terrific as well.

There may not be enough room or applicable zoning but a Target or a Walmart would sure be convenient.

Sounds Cool for the Hobby Shop. It might carry " the unusual" needs A.C. Moore might not have.

I would love to see an Applebee's or Friendly's or a well known chain restaurant in the area of the shopping centers...But most of a book store... B&N, or Books a Million, a few dress shops and one for larger women... Payless shoe store... TJ's of course...

I love the idea of a book store with a coffee shop attached.
A Trader Joe's would be great too.
We have had a couple of gift shops, but they didn't seem to make it.

I think we need a play place for kids where you can have toddler/parent stay and play, or drop and play, birthday parties, and drop and play on weekend days and nights. This would be great for local parents! In Rehoboth Beach, their is a great place called Kid's Cottage that has this going on. Rollie Pollie's and Ultimate Playzone do the drop and play occasionally and I believe it is usually sold out every time.

I never had any children but took care of nieces and nephews. A good safe place for children of all ages is essential. I believe there should be more day care centers for the working parents.

Trader Joes! We can also use a good quick restaurant like Zoe's Kitchen. No more crappy fast food! No more ice cream or yogurt places! If there was more space a Wegmans would be a great replacement for Food Lion.

I agree with some of the comments above: A book store! Preferably a used bookstore, with great old books lining the shelves and a bookstore cat roaming the aisles ... but I'd settle for anything! A Barnes and Noble that carried lots of magazines on obsure topics you can't find anywhere else and a large nonfiction section would get lots of business from me and my famly (we really miss the Borders that used to be at Annapolis Mall!).

These are great ideas! and, no, to my knowledge the Food Lion is not leaving. A Trader Joe's gets my vote!

I'd like to see a grocery which caters to all those with diet restrictions.
No sugar added, gluten free, etc. with a CVS pharmacy.

Well, it's not a Trader Joe's or Target, but one of the vacant spaces will be serving BBQ: http://severnapark.patch.com/articles/scene-around-town-pig-in-severna-park#photo-9971621

You forget, we HAD an iHOP, and a Friendly's, and a Popeyes, all of those places went out of business. Support local business, enough all ready with the chain restaurants and big box stores already!

They are so busy in Glen Burnie. Its got to be a matter of poor management or a franchise owner tired of it all and selling out. I stood at the carry out at Friendly's and had to calll for someone to wait on me. No one did. You saw people in the kitchen doing nothing. People said they were often short changed in they're order. IHop's help couldn't get the orders right and had to be told what was on the menus. Yet, they are both doing well in Glen Burnie. Wierd.
