PHOTOS: Pups, Coffee Unite for Worthy Cause
The Big Bean hosted a “Meet, Greet & Treat,” on Saturday with Maryland Animal Sanctuary and Rescue.
A few cute pups and a local coffee shop combined for a worthy cause over the weekend.
“We just wanted to spread the word and showcase some of our animals. Hopefully people will be interested in adopting,” said MAS Rescue founder Mary Snyder during the event.
MAS Rescue had four dogs in attendance at the event—all of which were up for adoption.
Rooster a Chihuahua and Italian greyhound mix, was among the pups at the “Meet, Greet & Treat.” Adoption Coordinator, Jennifer Haber said she thought Rooster would make a great trick dog.
“He is very sweet and affectionate,” Haber said.
The event also featured dog treats, apparel and accessories.
"Overall it was a lovely day," Snyder said. "The weather was very nice and we did get a couple of inquires on our dogs for adoption and we met a lot of really nice people. I would say it was a success."
