Updated: Two Principals Among Staff Retiring From Local Schools
Severna Park Middle School Principal Sharon Morell and Benfield's Terri Sacchettiis among others retiring this year.
Severna Park will be replacing our longtime middle school principal, one high school guidance counselor and five teachers, according to a document shared by Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) spokesman Bob Mosier,
Many of the administrators and teachers retiring throughout the county have served their communities for 30 years or more.
Listed below are the teachers and administrators retiring from Severna Park schools, with their total years of service in the county.
Here is the updated list of those retiring from Severna Park Schools:
- Monna Madron, teacher, 29 years.
- David Crockett, teacher, 37 years.
- Sharon Morell, principal, 39 years.
- Bonnie Habicht, guidance counselor, 20 years.
- Judith Crawford, teacher, 18 years.
- Sue Schiavone, teacher, 16 years at Severna Park Middle School.
- Terri Sacchetti, principal, 35 years.
- Judith Smith, teacher, 14 years.
- Marsha Stewart, teacher, 37 years.
