Not Just Rain: NWS Issues Flash Flood Watch
The National Weather Service has issued the following alert.

Shocking news, there are thunderstorms in Friday's forecast.
But there's more.
The National Weather Service has also issued a flash flood watch for parts of Maryland, including Anne Arundel County. According to its weather statement, some storms could dump more than two inches of rain per hour.
Areas with creeks and streams in low-lying areas are particularly at risk according to NWS; especially those areas that saw some rainfall last night.
If heavy rain does hit the area, it is expected to begin in the late morning, after 11 a.m., according to NWS.
Temperatures will be relatively mild, whith highs expected in the low-to-mid 80s during the day, dropping to the mid-60s at night, when there's an 80 percent chance that rain will continue.
