M&T Bank Opens Temporary Location
The Severna Park branch has been closed since Aug. 6 due to a fire.
The M&T Bank in Severna Park was the scene of a two-alarm fire early Sunday evening and is closed temporarily for reconstruction due to fire and smoke damage.

The Severna Park branch of the M&T Bank will open a temporary location after the building was damaged by a fire on Aug. 5.
M&T Bank sustained about $1 million in damages after the fire, an Anne Arundel County spokesman told Patch on Aug. 6.
The Capital reported the bank will move from 576 Ritchie Highway to 574 Ritchie Highway adjacent to the Ace Hardware Store. The Capital also reported the safe deposit boxes were undamaged during the fire and will be moved to the new location.

Hi Kate - I just called M&T and an employee said it could be 10-14 days or as many as 60 days depending on when they get all the paper work cleared. I will continue to check in on this. Thank you!

Was there any report on what started the fire? I may have missed an article or two, but am curious to know how it started.
