Halloween Alternatives In Severna Park

1. Franklin’s Toys – Creepy Crawly Craziness
Our favorite local toy store has teamed up with Chelonia Adventures to showcase a collection of friends that slither, slide and crawl. Call ahead to sign up because space is limited.
When: Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, 2 p.m.
2. Severna Park United Methodist Church - Fall Festival
Join the fun with a cookout, moonbounce and pumpkin painting. While you are there, you can roam in the pumpkin patch and buy a pumpkin or two to take home.
When: Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, Noon – 2: p.m.
3. Severna Park Community Center - Creature Feature Open House
If you can’t get to Franklin’s Toys, Chelonia Adventures will have a Creature Feature Open House at the Severna Park Community Center. This event is designed for all ages, but especially those that might find a haunted house too scary.
$10 per person (3 and under free). No registration required, first come, first serve.
When: Friday – Sunday, Oct. 21 – 23, 2011, 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.
4. Robert A. Pascal Youth and Family Services - Halloween Fun Walk
Sign up for the 6th Annual Halloween 5K Run and Fun Walk right on the B & A Trail to support mental and emotional health services in the community.
When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
5. Severna Park Baptist Church – Family Fall Festival
Field games, fun activities and special treats for children of all ages.
When: Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
