Families and individuals are invited to participate in the fifth annual Folger McKinsey Elementary School 5K and Family Fun Run on Sunday at Kinder Farm Park.

There will be raffle items for children and adults, silent auction items and prizes for the top finishers.

The Folger school community recently celebrated the opening of the new school building at the original location on Arundel Beach Road in Severna Park.

The family run will start Sunday at 9 a.m. followed by the 5K race at 9:30 a.m.

The cost of the event is the same as in previous years:

• $20 for single runners and $50 for Folger families. 

If you register as a Folger family, make sure you select T-shirt sizes (available while supplies last) for each participant.

The event raises money for the Folger PTSO.
