Severna Park Falcons (3-3) traveled to South River (4-2) Seahawks Friday night in Anne Arundel County High School football action.
After several offensive turnovers by South River and a scoreless first quarter, the Seahawks got on the board first and led the Falcons 20-7 at halftime.
SP Falcons coaches must have woken this team up during halftime, because the Falcons came out fired up in the 3rd quarter dominating Offensive and Defensive sides of the ball. Scoring 2 TD's, the Falcons went into the 4th quarter with a 21-20 lead. But it was short lived. 2 interceptions by the Seahawk secondary, one returned for TD, sparked a tremendous output by the Seahawks and propelled them to a 40-21 final.
