The Talent Machine Company will present the musical "All Shook Up" featuring the music made famous by Elvis Presley.
The production will be performed by a cast of 27 talented children from all over the region, ages 13-18.
Gracing the stage from Severna Park are Billy Luzier, Alli Musser, Kara Overton, and Mariel White.
The show runs from Aug. 3 to 5 and Aug. 9 to 12 in the Key Auditorium at St. John’s College.
According to a news announcement, the show is set in a 1950s small town.
"Chad, a hip-swiveling, guitar-playing “roustabout” arrives just in time to bring this dreary little town back to life. Natalie, a young mechanic, is dreaming of love and adventure and with the help of Chad, she finds a little of both.
"This show is not your typical love story. There are mistaken identities, run away young lovers, an evil Mayor, lots of mayhem, madness and true love. It is very loosely based on those great Shakespeare classics "Twelfth Night" and "As You Like it"."
Musical numbers in the show will include, Jailhouse Rock, Heartbreak Hotel, I Can't Help Falling in Love with You, Hound Dog, Teddy Bear, Now or Never, Blue Suede Shoes, Don't be Cruel, Love Me Tender, All Shook Up and other hit tunes.
Tickets are available at the door or online at www.talentmachine.com or by calling 410-956-0512.
