Presbyterian College Choir to Perform at Woods Church

The members of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church invite the community to a concert by the Presbyterian College Choir (PCC) as part of its 100th year anniversary celebration.

The PCC will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 2 at the church located at 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park.   Admission is free for both members and the community and an offering will be taken.

According to the news announcement, the PC Choir performs off-campus several times each term and observes an annual spring tour.

Repertoire is predominantly sacred and has included a catalog of diverse works including traditional academic choral repertoire, contemporary anthems for the church, hymn arrangements, spirituals, and non-western material, according to the news announcement.

Over the past several years, the choir has presented performances of Carmina burana, Duruflé Requiem, Brahms Ein Deutsches Requiem, and Beethoven 9th Symphony.
