John A. Karr, or as I call him.....Uncle John, I am sure is in heaven.

Uncle John was one of the most inspirational and decent people I know.

In a world of so much negativity and cynicism, Uncle John was a beacon of light. He was the kind of person who always looked for the good in people. Although he acknowledged the bad in the world, he always tried to inspire me, my sister and all my brothers to strive for what is good.

I believe many people liked him because he was a kind hearted and humble man. In a world where many people talk about living a life according to the Lord, but doing otherwise, I believe Uncle John lived about as God fearing, humble and decent a life as a person could.

Uncle John may be gone now, but at least I know I was blessed to be in the presence of a man, who I really feel was a good and decent man on this earth. I am sure his family feels the same. We will all sincerely miss him.

God Bless you Uncle John
See you on the other side one day with Tata.

Your loving nephew,
Marek Karski
