Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church recently celebrated the opening of Anne Arundel House of Hope's new medical clinic, according to a news announcement. This initiative was created to provide free quality healthcare services to the poor and uninsured in Anne Arundel County.

The clinic, located at 514 N. Crain Highway in Glen Burnie, will offer services to those in need through voluntary partnerships with doctors from Baltimore Washington Medical Center and other volunteer physicians from the community. 

Members of Woods Church provided donations towards building the clinic as part of their centennial celebration and continuing mission to support neighbors near and far, according to the announcement.

Woods Church is celebrating its 100^th year anniversary with many activities and events planned for 2012.
